Grounding Posture For Ultimate Relaxation

Our hectic lives leave us stressed and tensed. This also reflects on our muscles and attitudes. We have to learn to deeply relax our bodies first. Once the body is relaxed, the mind will follow. This grounding posture, helps you connect with your own endless energy source within. Be natural and be relaxed. Lie down on the floor with three stabilizers or rolls of towels under your neck, lower back and knees. Just drop all your weight on the ground and lie motionless. This is very much like Shavasana but modified to support the neck, back, and knees for complete relaxation. It Calms the brain and helps relieve stress and mild depression, relaxes the body, reduces headache, fatigue, and insomnia and helps to lower blood pressure. The most important aspect of this posture is nothingness. Only from nothing can you achieve everything. Do this grounding posture twice a day. But remember, you can do such relaxation whenever you feel tense or tired.
